Are we ready for the AI HRBP?

The inspiration for this post was old notes from a sticky situation a while back where both manager and team member had come to me with problems (with each other) wanting advice.

As I cleaned out my desk, I thought about how that interaction would be different if, instead of me listening and coaching, both of these individuals went to Claude or ChatGPT.

So, I pushed that stack of notes to the side and tested out the scenarios recreating, to the best of my ability, the sentiments and perspectives of each person to see what their prompts would return.

I am imperfect as an advisor, but with my experience and actual humanity, this experiment convinced me I’m still better than a chat bot.
